We are fortunate to work with many exceptional leaders and districts, and every year we recognize several of them with our annual awards. Awards are given to individuals and teams who demonstrate outstanding vision in K-12 education technology. 

 

All award winners are recognized at CoSN’s Annual Conference and receive complimentary conference registrations, honoraria, and media coverage.

National CTO of the Year (Withrow Award)

Recognizes an exceptional district technology leader/CTO.
 

District Team Leadership (Team Award)

Honoring a district leadership team for its transformative impact on student learning with technology. 
 

Policy (Excellence in Public Service Award)

Recognizing an elected or appointed official for his or her achievements in advocacy and policy to promote the use of k-12 education technology. 
 

NextGeneration Leaders (Award for Emerging EdTech Leaders)

Recognizing and supporting emerging leaders in education technology. 
 

Closing Digital Equity (Community Leadership Award for Digital Equity)

Encouraging and recognizing districts working to eliminate inequities and narrow the access gap with community partners. 

 

Volunteer Leadership (Volunteer of the Year Award and CoSN Volunteer Hall of Fame)

Honoring a CoSN volunteer who has provided exemplary support to CoSN. (We also honor several volunteers with induction into the CoSN Volunteer Hall of Fame).
 

Private Sector Leader (Hurley Private Sector Champion Award)

Honoring an individual from the private sector for outstanding service to the education technology community and CoSN.
 

Partnerships (Partnerships that Matter Award)

Honoring partner organizations who work with CoSN in making a difference in transforming learning with technology. 
 

Lifetime Achievement (Seymour Papert Award)

Recognizing lifelong contributions to technology and education.
